I finally scanned some of my summer sketchs on to the computer, and transfered some older art to my laptop today, so expect many submissions over the next week or so. I just don't feel like uploading them all in one day :)

Edit:

Just thought of this. Examples are in parentheses.
Which type of animated movie do you prefer: 2-D (Lion King), CGI (Toy Story), Stop motion (Coraline) or claymation (Wallace and Gromit)?

But all I have are nachos.  Grief nachos arn't the same!

*SPOILERS DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN LOK EPISODE 10*

Up to this episode, I was okay with nearly all the people that got their bending taken away.  They were cheaters, corrupt politicians, and gang members. The only people who I didn't agree with were the police officers. But this episode.
THIS EPISODE.

Why Lin? Why her Amon?
Why couldn't have been someone else, anyone but her!
She is too awsome to lose her bending!
I sobbed when she lost her bending, and are still emotional now. Not even the showing of (who I believe to be) Zuko's son Iroh cheered me up. Now Lin can't kick some chi blocker butt with her metal bending in the season finalie.  All I can say is that Korra and Tezin should be pissed and kick Amon's butt so hard  he ends up in the series premeir of Avatar The Last Airbender. And Appa eats him, or he gets stuck in an iceburg like Aang.

Also, I think that the fact that Zuko's son Iroh is going to fight in Republic City is quite interesting. It reminds me of how Iroh in the first series attacked Ba Sieng Sai (or something like that) and lost, so I think that this will be the oppisite for this Iroh, seeing as though he is trying to take back the city instead of taking it.

*SPOILER ENDS*

On another note, I finished my first week of driver' s ed and didn't destroy anything! I had a few flubb ups, but nothing serious. I even had two fangirl moments when at summer school.  The first one is when I saw the name of my car. It's  a black Dodge Avenger. All it needed was an S and I would have freaked out in front of my driving buddy and teacher.  The second one was when I went to the library. Every single book i wanted to read was there. The comic section was completly filled, and that never has happened in our library before. I had a bookgasm when I saw this. In the middle of the library. In front of the librarian.
Best day ever people.

.....but still sad over the LOK situation.

After reading a comment on :iconthedemondm22:'s latest journal about books that are great without being in a series, I thought it would be nice to share some books that I think are jems by themselves.

:bulletblue:Beauty Queens by Libba Bray
:bulletwhite: Even though my brain cells slowly depleted at the begining of the book, the author managed to skillfully turn it into an interesting read with a strong message about America's society.

:bulletblue: Code Orange by Caroline B. Cooney
:bulletwhite:  This book packs a powerful punch into such a tiny package, delevering an action packed story with a scenario that can possibly happen in the real world today.

:bulletblue: Soldier X by Don L. Wufflson
:bulletwhite: About a German/Russian boy enlisted into the Nazi army and what he goes through after being trapped behind enemy lines.
This book gave me so much insight to the german side of WWII and how civilians of all countries were affected, and even had me crying throughtout the book.

:bulletblue: The Unwanteds by Lisa McMann
:bulletwhite: Even though it is directly aimed toward young teens, it shows that the arts and being creative can be just as powerful as any weapon.

:bulletblue: Zombies vs Unicorns by Various Authors
:bulletwhite: The diversity in the collection of stories in this book makes it worthwile, and some of them could easily be added to and become a book on their own.

I'll add more if I can think of them, but for right now, Happy Reading! :)

The Patriots only lost because of that freaken' butt-down that guy made! They should have been the true winners of the Super Bowl!
Yes, I cheered for the Patriots, and was the only one in my family to do so. So when the Giants won, it wasn't pretty.
Although I'm pretty used to it, everytime we watch sports I cheer for the oppisite team. And sometimes it pays off  (Canada Hockey
Olympics Winners!!!)!

Expect to have a huge flood of art soon to make up for no art in January, I have a lot loaded up onto the computer and much more planned for later in the month. Other than that, happy Super Bowl for the fans of the Giants.
